Hello Everyone!

My name is Jenny, and I'm the HR Administrator for a Commercial Landscaping Co. in Florida. I will be sitting for my PHR this May-June window. I am currently using the SHRM Learning System, and will be attending one of their PHR Certification Courses in April.

Good Luck to us all!

Hi
I plan to take the PHR in June. I just stumbled upon this forum. Bonus. Unfortunatly I have less than a year experience. I will graduate in May with a Bachelor's in HR Management. I am looking to take the PHR to help me get into the field of HR. I am very new to all of this. I am open to suggestions and tips to help me break into the field. I look forward to working with all of you. Thank you

Hello my name is Dana, I am studying for the PHR certification. I have been in HR/Recruiting for the past 9 years. I just began studying from the PHR/SPHR Study Guide. Hoping to take the exam at the end of the year. H

Hi everyone! Good to meet you all. I am studying to take the PHR at the end of the year in December. I was advised to get together with others who are also studying to share thoughts and ideas. I'm so glad that I found this site. I'm using Anne M. Bogardus, SPHR's PHR/SPHR Professional in Human Resources Certification Study Guide. There is a CD included. Has anyone heard of that before? It seems very informative. Good to meet you all!

Hi,
my name is Samuel and I'm from California. I am currently a recent graduate of University of California, San Diego with a BA in Sociology. I have no experience in HR, but i do have the Kaplan HR Certification book, the Bogardus book and I might purchase the HRCP prep. I am looking to take the PHR test at the end of December, but from what I've been reading through this forum, I am getting a little discouraged because so many of you have so much experience in the HR industry.

my email is samK2987@gmail.com.
I hope to acquire a lot of knowledge from this forum as well as my study guides.

Has anyone taken the PHR or SPHR exam this test window? If so, we'd love to hear about it!

To those who are still schedule to take it, GOOD LUCK!!!

I took my PHR exam today, and I passed! :D
My advice is to study whenever possible, determine what you know, and then work hard on the things you don't. And don't beat yourself up! If you use your experience and study hard with whatever materials you use, you should be fine!
And use the "Mark" feature! It really does help you to go back and review those questions that you are not 100% sure of

Hi,

I'm Trina. I'm preparing for the PHR exam this winter. My experience is HR Generalist/Recruiter. I currently have three study guides - Ann Bogardus, Cathy Gibson, and I just order the HRCI Study guide. I'm available to meet most evenings and weekends.
